Getting Around

↑ / ↓

Move the highlight up or down the list.

→ RIGHT

Go into the selected thing.

← LEFT

Back out one level.

RETURN

Open the item action menu.

⚠ Most Important Rule

Use RIGHT to move through folders. If you press RETURN on a folder and see Enter / Rename / Delete, choose Enter.

The Cave Walkthrough

Room 1

Wake The Menu

  1. Press C= + RESTORE.
  2. Highlight Disk File Browser.
  3. Press RETURN.

Room 2

Walk To The Right Spot

  1. Highlight Usb1, your SD card, or a folder.
  2. Press RIGHT to go in.
  3. Use UP / DOWN to pick the next folder.
  4. Press RIGHT again.
  5. Press LEFT if you go too far.

Puzzle 1

Create A Directory

  1. Press F1.
  2. Choose Create → press RETURN.
  3. Choose dir / file → press RETURN.
  4. Type the directory name → press RETURN.

Puzzle 2

Create A Disk Image

  1. Highlight your new directory.
  2. Press RIGHT to enter it.
  3. Press F1 → Choose Create.
  4. Pick D64 Image or D81 Image.
  5. Type the disk name → press RETURN.

Puzzle 3

Mount The Disk

  1. Highlight the new disk image.
  2. Press RETURN.
  3. Choose Mount Disk → press RETURN.

Puzzle 4

Make A File

  1. Leave the browser and return to C64 mode.
  2. Make or load a program.
  3. Save it with SAVE "HELLO",8.

The browser creates folders and disk images. The file itself is usually created after the disk is mounted.
